Basically I went nuts when I got my Anet A8 and started printing upgrades and accessories right away. After printing cable chains for the Extruder and heated bed I
...显示更多 noticed that nobody had made or at least published a thing for a Z-axis cable chain and then I decided to make my own.
I had already printed an [electronics case](http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:2029528) and was planning on making the [mosfet case](http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:2054199) since I already had the mosfet boards ordered from a certain online web-store.
Also I had a [bed cable chain](http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:2054214) and an [extruder cable chain](http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:1905344) so I thought to myself, how could I use the things I already had printed and design a cable chain for the Z-axis so my printer could have a more uniform look instead of random hanging cables in a sleeve.
The answer was to modify the Mosfet case's cover and the X-motor side attacment of the extruder cable chain.
Note 1: I printed total of 16 chain links.
Note 2: If you make this thing you will need to extend your cables for the following parts or they will not be long enough to connect to the Anet A8 motherboard.
* X-axis stepper motor
* X-axis end limit switch
* Extruder stepper motor
* Extruder heater
* Extruder temperature sensor
* Extruder stepper motor cooling fan
* Extruder nozzle cooling fan
Prepare yourself for some serious soldering! :)
