Use caution if you make one of these as it could potentially over discharge your battery, be mindful of the charge left on the battery to avoid damage.
I had
...显示更多 the need for a portable soldering station, but I really didn't want to carry around yet another battery pack when I am working mobile. I found the Quicko T12 kits on eBay for super cheap and thought that would be perfect. I have a bunch of Milwaukee M18 battery packs that I take with me for my drills so why not adapt the soldering station to work on the batteries that I already take with me. macsboost published the design to use a M18 battery in custom projects, using that and the work done by Nick_Shl I was able to make a stand alone device that I could use to solder on the go.
You will need:
1x16mm round latching push button, I got mine with a led ring, but you can use a solid one.
1x Quicko T12 soldering kit
2x blade wire connectors
Some wire to crimp to the blade connectors
Print the parts.
Build the Soldering kit and install it into the plate that is included
Wire everything up.
