...显示更多 British second world war multi-role aircraft, noted for its almost entirely wooden structure, speed, and adaptability. Conceived as a fast attack bomber, it also took the roles of a day/night-fighter, reconnaissance craft, and close air support to name just a few. With its dual Merlin engine configuration, it was one of the fastest aircraft in the world when it entered service in 1941.
Had been working on this one for a little while now, mostly trying to figure out a way to connect the wings and fuselage in a way I was happy with, without being too obtrusive. There is a locking piece which clicks in underneath that stops the wings sliding out of position. May require a little fiddling! The kit is the largest to date with the most pieces, as I tried to keep it mostly to scale with the other WW2 planes I've made without growing too large (around 90% actual).
Two versions of the kit are included, one with the landing gear down and the other up, and both kits have a convenient wee hanging loop. Also included are the individual part files
