The base will fit a 12mm standard die, used the indicate the # of pins on a given unit.
I made the Imperial Japanese "Rising Sun" WW2 Battle Flag flag marker to fit snugly into the base, but highly recommend you fit it carefully and drop a bit of CA glue.
I used a white filament, then used a fine tipped red permanent marker to complete the flag.
This flag is not a fully accurate representation of the "Rising Sun" flag of the period, as it had 16 rays extending from the centre; this flag serves just as a close approximation.
