This is a 28mm model of the German Opel Maultier half track. I had previously loaded
...显示更多 the radio/command post version of this vehicle, but it was a request from a follower, and I loaded it with the proviso that I had no printed it, as I had no use for the model.
I was recently asked to make a cargo version of the same, so I revisited the file. I simplified the print, flattening the bottom and having the front axle a separate piece, which fits into recesses on the underside. The tracks now have recesses that fit into nubs on the lower chassis, to aid in alignment.
I made the cargo cover; it is removable and has nubs to hold it in place. no need to glue it.
The model is my print, unpainted as it was printed for a club-mate.
Note that supports are required due to the amount of overhang on the design,
